Business Strategy Manager

As a Business Planning Manager in Avetium, your role is pivotal in shaping the strategic and financial direction of the organization. This includes leading the business planning function, Overseeing the financial budgeting process, and ensuring alignment between operational execution and long-term strategic goals. As a key advisor to senior leadership, the Business Planning Manager provides data-driven insights, financial forecasts, and scenario analyses to support decision-making and drive sustainable growth.
This position is ideal for a strategic thinker with strong financial acumen, excellent analytical skills, and a deep understanding of the business technology landscape.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Strategic Planning & Business Analysis
•Lead the development and execution of the company's annual and multi-year strategic plans.
•Conduct market, competitor, and internal performance analysis to inform strategic initiatives.
•Translate corporate strategy into actionable business plans and performance targets.
2. Financial Budgeting & Forecasting
•Oversee the entire budgeting process, including annual operating budgets, capital expenditure plans, and rolling forecasts.
•Collaborate with department heads to ensure alignment of budgets with strategic priorities.
•Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis with recommendations for corrective actions.
3. Performance Management & Reporting
•Develop and maintain dashboards and KPIs to track business performance.
•Prepare and present detailed financial and business performance reports to senior management and the board.
•Support board-level reporting and investor presentations as needed.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
•Partner with Finance, Sales, Product, and Operations teams to align financial and operational goals.
•Serve as a strategic advisor to the CFO and CEO on financial planning and resource allocation.
5. Risk Management & Compliance
•Identify financial and operational risks and propose mitigation strategies.
•Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and financial regulations.
6. Process Improvement:
•Continuously assess and improve planning, budgeting, and financial reporting processes by leveraging best practices and technology tools.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
•Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field. MBA or Master's in Strategic Management is an advantage.
•Minimum of 3 -5 years' experience in business planning, strategy, or financial analysis within the consulting industry.
•Proven experience in managing cross-functional teams and strategic initiatives.
