Technical Assistant to the Managing Director

The Technical Assistant is fully accountable for the following key activities:
- Strategic Advisory: Provide research-based insights, technical analysis, and recommendations to support the MD's strategic decisions.
- Operational Coordination: Monitor execution of strategic initiatives, align departmental goals, and ensure timely delivery of reports and projects.
- Research & Analysis: Conduct industry research, analyze performance data, and present actionable insights for business improvement.
- Communication & Representation: Prepare briefs, presentations, and reports; represent the MD in meetings; and manage stakeholder communications.
- Project Management: Lead and track strategic projects, ensuring effective implementation, accountability, and alignment with corporate objectives.
- Administrative Support: Oversee day-to-day administrative operations of the MD's office, including document management, meeting coordination, task tracking, and follow-up on action items to ensure efficiency and effective workflow.
Specific Certification, Knowledge and Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
- Master's Degree or relevant professional certification (CFA, CIPM, ACA, or similar) is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 4–7 years relevant experience in the financial services or pensions industry, with at least 2 years in an advisory, strategy, or analytical role.
- Strong understanding of the pensions regulatory environment (e.g., PENCOM regulations) and investment management principles

- In-depth knowledge of pension fund operations, investment portfolios, and compliance frameworks.

- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.).
