Job Summary

As the National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving nationwide sales performance, leading large sales teams, and penetrating major modern trade channels such as supermarkets, Shoprite, and cold-chain outlets. You will develop growth strategies, deepen market presence, and ensure strong execution of sales initiatives across all regions, while reporting directly to the Managing Director.

Responsibilities

  • Lead nationwide sales operations across modern trade, supermarkets, cold chains, and key retail partners
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase penetration and visibility of food-related products
  • Build and manage high-performing sales teams while driving strong execution across all channels
  • Establish and maintain senior-level relationships with major distributors, retailers, and modern trade decision-makers
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and performance indicators to improve sales efficiency

Requirements

  • B.Sc./HND in Business, Marketing, or related discipline
  • 10–15 years' proven sales leadership experience in the Food & Beverage sector, with strong modern trade exposure
  • Strong knowledge of large retail outlets (Shoprite, supermarkets, cold chains, distributors, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to sell and position food products effectively in competitive markets
  • Dynamic, innovative, highly motivated, and able to work independently with deep market insight
  • Proven ability to manage large teams and engage confidently at senior (C-level) levels
