Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Abuja for a Partnerships and Business Development Associate. The successful candidate will focus on building and maintaining strategic partnerships, conducting market research, and identifying potential business opportunities. Responsibilities include generating leads, creating impactful presentations, and maintaining clear and regular communication with partners and stakeholders. The role will require fostering relationships that contribute to Atystic's vision of inspiring creativity and innovation.
Qualifications
- Strong Presentation and Presentations skills to effectively communicate ideas and proposals
- Experience in Lead Generation and Market Research to identify and explore business opportunities
- Excellent Communication skills to build and maintain relationships with partners and stakeholders
- Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
Key Responsibilities
Partnerships & Sponsorships
- Identify and approach potential partners, sponsors, and collaborators (brands, cultural institutions, media, NGOs, and art organizations).
- Develop tailored partnership proposals, pitch decks, and sponsorship packages.
- Manage ongoing relationships with partners and ensure mutual value delivery.
- Oversee partnership activations and ensure sponsor visibility during exhibitions and campaigns.
Business Development & Growth
- Explore new revenue opportunities — from grants and brand partnerships to creative collaborations.
- Support the expansion of ATYSTIC's exhibitions and programs to new cities and countries.
- Develop strategic initiatives to strengthen ATYSTIC's long-term financial sustainability.
- Track market trends within art, design, and creative industries to inform partnership strategy.
Communications & Representation
- Collaborate with the creative and communications team to align partnership campaigns with brand tone and identity.
- Represent ATYSTIC at networking events, exhibitions, and meetings with potential partners.
- Maintain a partnership CRM or contact database and provide regular progress reports.
Skills & Experience
- 2–4 years' experience in partnerships, business development, fundraising, or brand collaborations (creative or cultural sector preferred).
- Strong understanding of sponsorship dynamics, proposal writing, and corporate relationship management.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and deliver on both short-term opportunities and long-term growth plans.
- Experience working within arts, media, or non-profit sectors is a plus.
- Confident networker with the ability to connect artists, brands, and organizations meaningfully.
