Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven
Business Development Associate
to strengthen our business growth efforts. The ideal candidate will help expand our client base, manage key accounts, explore new venture opportunities, and ensure consistent follow-ups and deal closures. You will work closely with the existing associate to maintain momentum across business conversations and ensure no opportunities go cold.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in alignment with the company's strategic focus areas
- Manage and nurture existing leads, ensuring consistent engagement and timely follow-ups.
- Conduct market research to identify client needs, industry trends, and growth opportunities
- Champion strategic accounts to maintain strong partnerships and client satisfaction
- Maintain an organized CRM or lead management system to streamline follow-up and reporting.
- Support the preparation of business proposals, presentations, and investment pitches.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are effectively met.
- Track and report on business development activities, progress, and performance metrics.
- Represent the company in meetings, and networking events.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of proven experience in business development, preferably in consulting, advisory, or trade-related sectors.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to close deals and achieve revenue targets.
- Strategic thinker with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Proficiency in CRM tools
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and collaboratively
