We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Human Resources Intern (NYSC)

Job Location: Surulere, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time (NYSC Placement)

About the Role

  • We are seeking a passionate and proactive NYSC Human Resources Intern to join our HR team at Wells Accounting and Tax Services.
  • This internship offers an excellent opportunity for corps members to gain hands-on experience in core HR functions, build essential professional skills, and learn how HR operations work in a structured business environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with recruitment processes including job posting, screening, and interview coordination.
  • Support onboarding and documentation of new hires.
  • Help maintain employee records and HR databases.
  • Assist in preparing HR letters, memos, and other correspondence.
  • Participate in HR compliance and audit activities.
  • Provide administrative support in organizing trainings, staff welfare activities, and HR meetings.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the HR Manager.

Requirements

  • Currently serving in the NYSC program and seeking a Place of Primary Assignment (PPA).
  • B.Sc. or HND in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Eagerness to learn and build a career in HR.
