Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant located in Lagos. The Accountant will manage daily financial transactions, prepare financial statements, and ensure accurate bookkeeping. They will handle accounts payable and receivable, process invoices, and perform audits. The Accountant will also be responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and auditing
  • Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoice processing
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping and financial statement preparation
  • Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance requirements
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., ICAN ) is a plus
  • Experience in the logistics or customs brokerage industry is an advantage
  • Minimum of 2 - 5 years of experience in the accounting field

Salary

N250,000 - N300,000 monthly
