Position Title: Junior Human Resources Officer

Department: Human Resources

Reports To: COO/CEO

Location: Lekki Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time (hybrid)

Role Overview

The Junior Human Resources Officer supports the HR department in executing daily administrative and operational tasks. This role assists in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, HR data management, and compliance, ensuring smooth HR operations and a positive employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the end-to-end recruitment process (job postings, screening, scheduling interviews, onboarding).

Maintain and update employee records, databases, and HRIS systems.

Support payroll preparation by providing relevant employee information (attendance, leaves, etc.).

Help organize training sessions, workshops, and employee engagement activities.

Support HR compliance and ensure company policies align with labor regulations.

Handle routine employee queries and all issues that are HR related.

Prepare HR-related reports (turnover, absenteeism, recruitment metrics, etc.).

Contribute to HR projects such as policy updates, culture initiatives, or performance reviews.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

0–2 years of HR or administrative experience.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

High attention to detail and confidentiality.

Proficient in MS Office and HR software (HRIS systems preferred).

Eagerness to learn and grow within the HR function.
