Summary

We are seeking results-driven and client-focused Sales & Account Manager(s) to drive the adoption and successful utilization of our cutting-edge insurance brokerage management software. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both acquiring new brokerage clients and nurturing existing accounts to ensure long-term satisfaction and growth. A strong understanding of the insurance brokerage market is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development (Hunting)

  • Identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities within the insurance brokerage market.
  • Conduct compelling product demonstrations to showcase how our software solves key operational challenges (e.g., policy management, claims processing, compliance, and client servicing).
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial contact and discovery to negotiation and closing new contracts.
  • Consistently meet or exceed assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Account Management & Client Success (Farming)

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for a portfolio of assigned brokerage clients.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional software features or services to increase client value and revenue.
  • Conduct regular business reviews to assess client usage, gather feedback, and align our solutions with their evolving business needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and effective resolution of client issues.

Market & Product Expertise

  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes within the insurance brokerage space.
  • Act as a voice of the customer by gathering product feedback and collaborating with the Product Development team to influence future software enhancements.
  • Accurately track all sales activities, pipeline status, and account information using our CRM system.

Qualifications

Required Experience & Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of proven success in a Sales, Account Management, or Business Development role
    , ideally selling B2B software, SaaS, or technology solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a portfolio of accounts, drive renewals, and expand client relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently to manage a pipeline and territory.

Preferred Experience & Knowledge

  • Prior experience or strong working knowledge of the insurance brokerage market
    , including agency workflows, common management systems, working relationships with key market players, and industry challenges.
  • Experience selling software solutions designed for insurance agencies or brokerages (e.g., Agency Management Systems, CRM, comparative rating).
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies (e.g., Challenger Sale, Solution Selling, Consultative Selling).
