Job Summary

The Accountant is responsible for managing the company's financial records, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. The role oversees bookkeeping, reconciliations, financial analysis, and supports the preparation of budgets and statutory filings.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and supporting documents.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow reports.
  • Process invoices, payments, and expense claims.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Prepare and file statutory returns (taxes, pension, VAT where applicable).
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Conduct periodic audits of financial transactions and supporting documents.
  • Provide financial insights to management for decision-making.
  • Collaborate with external auditors during audits.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial information.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations.
  • Excellent proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Tally).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and reporting skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
