Job Description
We are hiring a Business Development & Sales Executive who will be responsible for driving client acquisition, nurturing relationships, and converting prospects into long-term partners. This role requires a persuasive communicator with excellent follow-up discipline, strong intuition, and the ability to close deals confidently. The ideal candidate is proactive, goal-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.
This is a full-time, onsite role based in Ibadan, requiring dedication, professionalism, and consistent engagement with prospective clients across various communication channels.
Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Identify and research potential clients through LinkedIn, targeted lists, and referrals.
- Generate qualified leads daily and update CRM records accurately.
Outreach & Relationship Building
- Craft and send personalized cold messages, emails, and calls to engage prospects.
- Follow up consistently until a clear decision is made — purchased, declined, or unavailable.
- Maintain a strong and professional communication presence across channels.
Presentations & Client Meetings
- Conduct discovery calls to understand client hiring needs or service challenges.
- Present tailored recruitment and talent solutions confidently.
- Prepare and send professional proposals to prospective clients.
Closing & Revenue Generation
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contract details with prospects.
- Convert qualified leads into paying clients.
- Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales targets.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Share insights from client engagements to guide campaign and service improvements.
- Maintain accurate reports on pipeline activity, meetings, and deals closed
Qualifications
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
- Proven ability to persuade, influence, and communicate value clearly.
- Strong intuition and the ability to read people and situations effectively.
- Highly persistent with exceptional follow-up discipline.
- Positive mindset, strong work ethic, and self-driven personality.
- Comfortable responding to client messages outside standard work hours when necessary.
- Experience in sales, business development, or client acquisition is preferred.
- Familiarity with Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, or Google Ads is an added advantage.
