Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Facility Officer to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of our facilities.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our buildings and services meet the needs of our employees, clients, and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and oversee all building maintenance and repair activities.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure buildings and equipment comply with safety standards.
- Prepare and manage the facilities budget, including forecasting and cost control.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality services.
- Oversee the work of external contractors and service providers, ensuring quality control.
- Evaluate vendor performance and maintain strong relationships to ensure continuous service delivery.
- Coordinate and plan the layout of office space and any required remodeling or renovations.
- Implement and promote sustainable practices to reduce energy consumption and waste.
- Stay informed on industry trends to continuously improve facility operations.
- Supervise and support the facility team, Office Assistant and Janitors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or OND in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Facility Officer or in a similar role.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Budgeting and financial management experience.
- Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Skilled in multitasking and setting priorities.
