Job Description
- Our client, an agricultural production and export company committed to delivering high-quality products to global markets currently has an opening for an Executive Assistant in Abuja.
- An ideal candidate for this role should be well-organized, and possess great planning and time management skills.
- Ultimately, he/she will contribute to the efficiency of the business by providing personalized and timely support to the CEO.
Job Responsibilities:
- Act as the point of contact among executives, employees, clients, and other external partners
- Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner
- Manage CEO’s calendars and set up meetings
- Format information for internal and external communication – memos, emails, presentations, reports
- Take minutes during meetings
- Organize and maintain the office filing system
- Answering phones and routing calls to the correct person or taking messages
- Filing and retrieving corporate records, documents, and reports
- Helping prepare for meetings
- Greeting visitors and deciding if they should be able to meet with executives
- Using various software, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software
- Reading and analyzing incoming memos, submissions, and distributing them as needed
- Experience as a virtual assistant
- Opening, sorting, and distributing incoming faxes, emails, and other correspondence
- Provide general administrative support
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an Executive Assistant or similar role supporting top-level executives.
- First degree or its equivalent in a technical field B.SC. degree in an agricultural field is a plus
- Experience in the agricultural industry is an added advantage.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Expert level in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel and other relevant software.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proactive problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- High level of professionalism and adaptability.
