Organizational Development specialist-HR

Job Summary
- The OD Specialist will work closely with various business units to understand and address current and future workforce and capability needs. The role involves designing and implementing organizational development OD strategies that enhance business performance. You will be responsible for conducting organizational diagnostics, workforce planning, succession planning, employee recognition programs, and fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities
- Organization Development Strategy: Lead the execution of the organization’s development strategy, including job analysis, development plans, and targeted interventions.
- Organizational Design & Workforce Planning: Provide expert guidance on organization design, workforce planning, and change management across key projects.
- Internal Consultancy: Serve as an internal consultant, advising business leaders and line managers on organizational development practices.
- Program Design & Implementation: Design and implement initiatives aligned with OD strategy to enhance organizational capability, culture, and performance.
- Stakeholder Management: Ensure the expectations of internal customers and key stakeholders are understood and met through effective communication and relationship management.
- Competency Framework Development: Collaborate with management and the people team to create an effective competency framework aligned with business objectives.
- Project Management: Manage project plans, stakeholder engagement, and communication plans for approved initiatives from assessment through implementation.
- Workforce & Succession Planning: Monitor and report on workforce and succession planning to ensure organizational readiness.
- Administrative & Reporting Responsibilities: Stay current with all administrative, auditing, and reporting obligations.
- HR Program Development: Contribute to the development and refinement of HR programs, including recruitment, retention, compensation, benefits, and learning & development initiatives.
Qualifications/Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in an organizational development role.
- Additional Qualification: Professional training or certification in Organizational Development OD is an added advantage.
- Knowledge: Strong background in OD theories, tools, and techniques, along with experience driving change in complex environments.
- Learning & Development: Proven experience in creating learning interventions that support a high-performance culture.

- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
