This involves sourcing high-quality materials, goods, and services at competitive prices while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers. Responsibilities include:
  • Developing and implementing procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
  • Sourcing and evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and maintaining a reliable supplier network.
  • Preparing and processing purchase orders and requisitions for materials, goods, and services.
  • Monitoring market trends, competitor strategies, and supplier performance to inform purchasing decisions.
  • Ensuring timely delivery of goods and services to meet production schedules and operational needs.
  • Collaborating with other departments to understand their procurement requirements and provide support as needed.
  • Maintaining accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, invoices, and supplier agreements.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations related to procurement.
  • Conducting regular evaluations of suppliers to ensure quality standards, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
  • Resolving any issues or discrepancies related to procurement, such as delivery delays, shortages, or quality concerns.
  • Continuously seeking opportunities to improve procurement processes and reduce costs.
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and market trends.
  • Proficiency in using procurement software and tools.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
