IT Support Staff

IT Support Specialist responsible for resolving employee IT issues, gathering data, and analyzing problems to diagnose and fix computer system issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Resolve IT support requests from employees
- Answer employee questions regarding computer systems
- Gather and analyze data to diagnose problems with computer systems
- Change configurations, settings, and permissions to fix computer issues
- Generate sign-ins for new hires during the onboarding process
- Install new software and hardware drivers and update existing ones as needed
- Update employees on the status of their service requests
- Log all service requests and update tickets as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Three years of experience in IT
- Deep knowledge of operating systems, current equipment, and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and system performance monitoring tools
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of company information
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science
- Project management experience
- Professional certification
