JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management. Acting as a consultant to management on human resource matters and being an advocate for employees, working on solutions and ensuring effective communication. The goal is to provide tailored, value-added services to support the organization's goals.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Humanities, or related field.
  • An advanced degree Masters or equivalent would be beneficial.
  • Minimum of five years of relevant work experience, including at least two years in a reputable, structured business environment, or multinational corporation.
  • Experience in two key areas of HCM – Training and Development, and Talent Acquisition.
  • Membership with the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) or any international HR Professional body such as CIPD, SHRM.
  • Knowledge of Human Resources Laws and regulations, as well as Global Best Practices. Experience with the Balanced Scorecard Performance Management Tool.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute talent planning, acquisition, development, and Management aligning with the organizational structure.
  • Provide guidance on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning.
  • Ensure clear understanding of the performance management system among all employees.
  • Offer day-to-day performance management guidance to line management including coaching, counseling, and career development.
  • Conduct half-year and year-end performance appraisals across the company.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on the onboarding process for new employees.
  • Conduct staff confirmation and exit interviews.
  • Hold regular meetings with various business units.
  • Consult with line management, offering HR advice when needed.
  • Analyze trends and metrics to develop policies and processes for ongoing improvement in the organization's performance.
  • Collaborate with management and employees to enhance work relationships, boost morale, and improve productivity and retention.
  • Process payroll accurately and timely per policy, ensuring compliance with NHF, Payee Tax, Pension contributions remittance within the stipulated time.
  • Address payroll inquiries and resolve related issues efficiently.
  • Ensure confidentiality of payroll information and manage contract staff payroll.
  • Handle disciplinary and grievance matters for effective resolution.
  • Proactively manage conflicts to maintain a positive work environment.
  • Stay updated on industry knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing publications, and participating in professional networks.
