JOB SUMMARY

Requirements and SkillsPrevious experience managing the operation of a store (or number of stores) while taking accountability for reaching targets.BSc degree in Sales, Business Administration or relevant fieldAbility to remotely supervise a team of sales people and set profitable goals.Excellent communication skills combined with a strategic mindset.Proven work experience as a Regional Sales Manager, Area Manager or similar senior sales roleAbility to measure and analyze key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs)Familiarity with CRM softwareUnderstanding of fast consumer moving goods industryAbility to lead and motivate a high performance sales teamExcellent communication skillsStrong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitudeAvailability to travel as neededAbility to drive vehiclePrior experience in managing FMCG products is an advantageMust reside in Lagos Mainland

RESPONSIBILITIES

Create regional sales plans and quotas in alignment with business objectivesSupport center managers with day-to-day center operationsEvaluate sales team and individual performancesReport on regional sales resultsForecast quarterly and annual profitsIdentify hiring needs, select and train new salespeoplePrepare and review the annual budget for the area of responsibilityAnalyze regional market trends and discover new opportunities for growthAddress potential problems and suggest prompt solutionsParticipate in decisions for expansion or acquisitionSuggest new services/products and innovative sales techniques to increase customer satisfactionRecruit new retail outlets, distributors and sales promotersForecast daily sales projections to meet customer demands
