Business Development Officer

Job Summary:
Our Client is looking for a results-driven Business Development Officer/Manager to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, expand the customer base, and increase revenue growth. The successful candidate will develop and execute business development strategies, build strong relationships with key stakeholders, and contribute to the company's overall growth and success.

Develop, implement and execute business development strategies to increase the company’s sales and profit.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and relationship-building.
Build and maintain strong business relationships with financial institutions, clients, stakeholders and other industry partners.
Develop and manage sales pipelines and forecasting.
Develop strategies to reduce business costs and improve business operations
Meet with clients to discuss specific opportunities or products and services offered by the company
Conduct market analysis and competitor research to inform business development decisions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver tailored financial solutions.
Coordinate with other departments to help generate interest in the company’s products and services
Present and negotiate business deals with clients and stakeholders to drive revenue growth
Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of lending products and services to be able to meet and exceed sales targets.
Collect and analyse client feedback to determine their satisfaction with products and services
Analyse data and information about clients to create proposals that meet their needs and requirements
Monitor and review product development and suggest improvements
Analyse financial information and implement strategies to increase revenue
Provide training and assistance to new team members
Maintain knowledge of market trends and competitive activities
What We Need from You?
Bachelor's degree in Business management, Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Economics or related field.
MBA is added advantage
Minimum of 3-5 years industry experience in business development, sales, or marketing in the financial services industry.
In-depth business knowledge and the ability to interpret financial data
Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth.
Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical, market research and reporting skills.
Experience in lending, credit analysis, or risk management.
Decision-making and organizational skills
