Identify and evaluate prospective SME clients through field visits, referrals, and partnerships.

Conduct credit appraisals, financial analysis, and risk assessments of loan applicants.

Prepare and present loan proposals to the credit committee.

Monitor and manage loan portfolios to ensure timely repayments and portfolio quality.

Build and maintain strong relationships with SME clients, offering financial advisory support.

Ensure compliance with internal policies, lending procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Generate regular reports on loan performance and portfolio health.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.

Minimum of 5 years experience in SME lending, preferably in a microfinance, fintech, or commercial banking environment.

Ability to resume immediately

Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.

Good understanding of financial statements and business analysis.

Proficiency in using loan management software and Microsoft Office tools.

Ability to work independently and meet targets under pressure.

Knowledge of the local SME ecosystem.
