At Onyxial, we are seeking an experienced Administrative Officer to provide high-level administrative support to ensure the smooth running of our organization.

 

Key Responsibilities:

We are looking for a highly organized and skilled individual to manage company documents and databases, ensuring confidentiality and security of files. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting clients and employees, scheduling meetings and appointments, arranging travel and accommodations, preparing reports on expenses and budgets, creating presentations, maintaining office supplies, updating office policies and procedures, enforcing compliance with health, safety, and security standards, monitoring staff performance, and collaborating with the human resources department on staff recruitment and training.

 

Requirements:

  • A First Degree in Business, Marketing, or Economics from a reputable institution
  • Above-average software skills in Microsoft Office applications
  • At least 3 years post-qualification experience
  • Technical knowledge and skills in results-based management
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to lead others in solving complex problems, work effectively with clients, and communicate effectively
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work with timelines and meet deadlines

 

Deseable Qualifications:

  • Managing documents: managing company documents and databases, and ensuring the confidentiality and security of files
  • Scheduling: scheduling meetings and appointments, and arranging travel and accommodations
  • Preparing reports: creating reports on expenses and budgets, and preparing reports and presentations
  • Maintaining office supplies: taking inventory, ordering office supplies, and working with vendors
  • Updating policies: reviewing and updating office policies and procedures
  • Ensuring compliance: enforcing compliance with health, safety, and security standards
  • Monitoring staff: monitoring staff performance and handling disciplinary issues
  • Collaborating with HR: collaborating with the human resources department on staff recruitment and training
