Job Description:

Sales Manager Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing Local and Regional Sales: Directly supervise local and regional sales teams, ensuring they meet set targets and quotas.
  • Planning and Directing Recruitment: Plan and direct the hiring of new sales representatives, ensuring the right candidates are selected for the role.
  • Coordinating Sales Activities: Coordinate all sales activities locally and regionally, ensuring effective communication among team members.
  • Preparing Sales Budgets: Prepare accurate sales budgets and projections, aligning with business goals and objectives.
  • Tracking Sales Statistics: Analyze and track sales statistics, identifying areas of improvement and opportunities for growth.
  • Customer Complaint Resolution: Effectively handle and resolve customer complaints regarding products or services.
  • Setting Discount Rates: Determine discount rates and price schedules, aligning with market conditions and business strategies.
  • Advising Distributors and Dealers: Advise distributors and dealers on policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring seamless execution.
  • Serving as Organization Face: Represent the organization as the face to internal and external partners, fostering strong relationships and building trust.
  • Data-Informed Decision Making: Make informed decisions based on data analysis, driving performance and resource allocation.
  • Client Relationship Development: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring loyalty and repeat business.
  • Sales Quota Setting: Set realistic sales quotas and goals, aligned with business objectives and target markets.
  • Sales Team Performance Oversight: Oversee and direct the performance of the sales team, providing guidance and support where needed.
  • Emerging Markets Identification: Identify emerging markets and opportunities for new sales growth, expanding the organization's reach and influence.
