Factory Operations Manager

As a Factory Manager at Ascentech Services Limited, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, and a commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:- Hiring and Training: Recruit, train, and supervise production employees to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
- Production Planning: Create work schedules, assign tasks, and coordinate manufacturing activities to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Supply Chain Management: Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to achieve cost-effective solutions and ensure a stable supply of raw materials.
- Resource Allocation: Allocate resources, such as equipment and personnel, to maintain production standards and optimize efficiency.
- Cost Management: Estimate manufacturing costs and identify ways to reduce them without compromising quality or productivity.
- Performance Evaluation: Evaluate employees' performance and provide coaching and feedback to improve their skills and knowledge.
- Quality Control: Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure finished goods meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Process Improvement: Monitor production output and adjust processes as necessary to meet deadlines and improve efficiency.
- Training and Development: Provide training and resources to ensure production teams understand safety protocols and best practices.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare production reports for senior management and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
- Education: A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field is required. Additional qualifications in management or business studies are beneficial.
- Experience: Several years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the RPET industry, is required. Proven experience in leadership roles is essential.
- Technical Skills: A deep understanding of the recycling process, including sorting, washing, SSP, and reforming processes, is required. Skills in process optimization, quality management, and lean manufacturing principles are beneficial.
- Managerial and Soft Skills: Strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving skills, and effective communication skills are essential. Ability to manage and adhere to budgets, with skills in cost reduction and financial analysis, is beneficial.
- Regulatory and Environmental Knowledge: Familiarity with environmental, health, and safety regulations applicable to the manufacturing and recycling of PET materials is required. Commitment to reducing environmental impact and improving energy efficiency is essential.
- Continuous Improvement and Innovation: Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies is beneficial. Ability to foster an innovative environment where new ideas and improvement initiatives are encouraged and implemented is essential.
- Customer and Market Orientation: Skills in managing and enhancing customer satisfaction through quality products and timely delivery are essential. Understanding of the market dynamics and customer requirements specific to the RPET industry is beneficial.
