Factory Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Factory Manager to join our team at Ascentech Services Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility, ensuring that production meets quality and efficiency standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Hiring and Training: Recruit, train, and supervise production employees to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Production Planning: Create work schedules, assign tasks, and coordinate manufacturing activities to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Supply Chain Management: Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to achieve cost-effective solutions and ensure a stable supply of raw materials.
- Resource Allocation: Allocate resources, such as equipment and personnel, to maintain production standards and optimize efficiency.
- Cost Management: Estimate manufacturing costs and identify ways to reduce them, ensuring that production remains profitable.
- Performance Evaluation: Evaluate employees' performance and provide coaching and feedback to improve productivity and quality.
- Quality Control: Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure that finished goods meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Process Improvement: Monitor production output and adjust processes as necessary to meet deadlines and improve efficiency.
- Training and Development: Provide training and resources to ensure that production teams understand safety protocols and best practices.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare production reports for senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Educational Background: A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Professional Experience: Several years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a proven track record of leadership and management.
- Technical Skills: Deep understanding of the recycling process, including sorting, washing, SSP, and reforming processes, as well as process optimization and quality management.
- Managerial and Soft Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, excellent problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to manage budgets and financial analysis.
- Regulatory and Environmental Knowledge: Familiarity with environmental, health, and safety regulations applicable to the manufacturing and recycling of PET materials, and a commitment to reducing environmental impact.
- Continuous Improvement and Innovation: Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies, and the ability to foster an innovative environment where new ideas and improvement initiatives are encouraged and implemented.
