Renewable Energy Sales Executive

Job Overview:
The ideal candidate will lead our sales efforts, developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets in the solar market.
Main Responsibilities:- Sales Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute sales plans that align with our business goals and drive growth in the solar market.
- Lead and manage a high-performing sales team, providing mentorship, coaching, and support to achieve individual and team performance.
- Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Team Development
- Recruit, train, and retain top talent, ensuring continuous professional development within the sales team.
- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented sales culture that promotes accountability, integrity, and innovation.
- Set clear performance objectives and regularly evaluate team performance through reviews and KPIs.
- Business Development & Key Account Management
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within residential, commercial, and industrial solar markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders to expand our network and brand presence.
- Lead negotiations and secure long-term contracts with high-value clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Sales Operations & Reporting
- Develop accurate sales forecasts and performance reports for executive management, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.
- Manage the sales budget, ensuring cost-effective practices and maximizing ROI.
- Oversee CRM management and ensure data integrity for efficient sales pipeline tracking and analysis.
- Market Insights & Product Knowledge
- Stay current with solar industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements to position us effectively in the market.
- Provide feedback to the product development team regarding market demands, customer needs, and potential improvements to our product offerings.
- Represent us at industry conferences, trade shows, and other events to promote products and services.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years in sales leadership roles, with a strong focus on the solar or renewable energy industry.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets and driving growth in competitive markets.
- Comprehensive understanding of solar energy solutions, including photovoltaic (PV) systems, energy storage, and related technologies.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong ability to develop and execute sales strategies that align with overarching business goals.
- Proficient in using CRM tools and leveraging data-driven techniques to enhance sales performance.
