About the Role:
We are seeking a Risk Governance and Assurance Leader to join our team at Ralds and Agate Limited. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced internal auditor to take on a leadership role in our internal audit function.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk management, compliance, and internal auditing, with experience working in the oil and gas industry. They will be responsible for leading audits and assurance engagements, developing and implementing effective audit plans and procedures, and providing expertise on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local accounting regulations.

This position requires exceptional leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals. The successful candidate will also have a comprehensive understanding of the upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors of the oil and gas industry, as well as a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry guidelines.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead audits and assurance engagements to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and governance processes.
  • Develop and implement effective audit plans and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide expertise on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local accounting regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address operational, financial, and compliance challenges.
  • Make strategic recommendations to senior management on risk management and governance improvements.
