Chemical Sales and Service Development Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Chemical Sales and Service Development Manager to join our team at Ascentech Services Ltd. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to utilize their expertise in developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients across the oil and gas industry.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, delivering chemical solutions to clients, and providing technical services to solve production challenges. They will also serve as the lead point of contact for service incidents and escalation of technical issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting business relationships with clients across major IOCs, independent producers, and service companies in the oil and gas industry.
- Identify new business opportunities for various production chemicals to meet revenue targets.
- Timely and successful delivery of chemical solutions to various clients according to their needs and objectives.
- Provide technical services to solve clients' production challenges and enhance production capabilities.
- Serve as the lead point of contact to coordinate the resolution of service incidents and escalation of technical issues.
- Liaise with customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of company products and solutions according to customers' needs.
- Manage multiple clients concurrently, often meeting deadlines and fulfilling service promises.
- Running of field trials of selected production chemicals to evaluate performance, effectiveness, and compatibility in oilfields production systems.
- Provide appropriate technical support and services to clients on all company products and services as may be required.
- Develop new product combinations in collaboration with the R&D unit, where current ones do not meet requirements.
- Understand the growing trends in production chemistry and advise as necessary.
- Initiates and coordinates the development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
- Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
- Carry out market research, competitor and customer surveys.
Requirements
- B.Sc./B.Eng/HND with a minimum of Second Class Upper Division (2.1)/Upper Credit in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering/Industrial Chemistry or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in the oil and Gas servicing industry.
