  • Preparing and reviewing budgets and financial reports
  • Monitoring project expenses and ensuring compliance with contractual guidelines
  • Investigating variances and recommending corrective actions
  • Collaborating with project managers to develop and implement project financial strategies
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with vendors and suppliers
  • Providing expert advice on financial matters to project stakeholders

Requirements:

  • BSC in Accounting or Finance and professional certification (ICAN, ACCA) is an added advantage
  • Minimum of 5 years working in accounting systems with 3 years in job cost, cost accounting and/or construction accounting
  • Experience in preparing and reviewing cash flow for multiple departments, revenue streams, or projects with roll-ups
  • Experience in budgeting process
  • Understanding of commercial insurance policies
  • Ability to work independently and complete duties and projects with little direct supervision
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook applications

  • Ability to learn new systems and procedures with ease
  • Ability to read and understand contracts and scopes of work
