Job Description

The Head of Accounting Operations will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reporting and analysis. This individual will be responsible for managing the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.

About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Financial Management Specialist to join PWAN GROUP as Head of Accounting Operations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial management, with excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and controls to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory agencies to facilitate audits, tax filings, and compliance requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Chief Accountant or similar role, with a minimum of [X] years of experience in accounting and financial management.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulations (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
