Job Summary

The Waiter provides exceptional guest service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests enjoy a memorable dining experience. The ideal candidate is friendly, attentive, and passionate about hospitality, maintaining the restaurant's service standards while working collaboratively with other team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and seat guests courteously, presenting menus and making recommendations when requested.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen and bar.
  • Serve meals and drinks efficiently while ensuring presentation and order accuracy.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of tables, chairs, and service stations.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction, respond promptly to requests, and resolve minor complaints professionally.
  • Handle billing and payment processes accurately.
  • Uphold all hygiene, health, and safety standards in accordance with company and regulatory guidelines.
  • Support colleagues and supervisors in daily operations, including setup and closing duties.
  • Assist in maintaining stock of condiments, linens, and tableware.
  • Promote specials, events, and lounge offerings to enhance guest experience and sales.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of SSCE/OND qualification.
  • 1–2 years prior experience as a waiter/waitress in a restaurant, hotel, or lounge setting preferred.
  • Good understanding of food and beverage service standards.
  • Basic POS or billing system knowledge is an advantage.
