Job Summary

The Waiter is responsible for ensuring timely, efficient, and excellent customer service delivery during daily corporate food service, in-house operations, and external events. The role involves packing and portioning meals, serving clients courteously, maintaining food hygiene standards, and representing Puff & Glaze's brand professionally at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Food Preparation & Portioning

  • Portion meals accurately based on daily menus and order specifications.
  • Ensure all food packs are properly labeled, sealed, and delivered in hygienic condition.
  • Cross-check orders before dispatch to avoid errors or omissions.
  • Maintain cleanliness of packing and service areas before, during, and after operations.

Corporate Lunch Service

  • Pack, load, and deliver food to designated client locations according to schedule.
  • Set up meal stations neatly and serve customers politely at corporate sites.
  • Manage meal portions efficiently to prevent waste or shortage.
  • Return leftover items and service equipment to the kitchen for proper accounting.

Customer Interaction & Feedback

  • Greet customers warmly and maintain a professional attitude throughout service.
  • Record customer feedback, suggestions, or complaints and relay them to the Service Supervisor.
  • Support in maintaining good relationships with corporate clients through courteous service.

Event Support

  • Assist in setting up, serving, and clearing during internal and external catering events.
  • Ensure uniform and grooming standards are met for all events (as per the company's Dress & Grooming Policy).

Compliance & Reporting

  • Follow all food hygiene, safety, and COVID-19 handling protocols.
  • Complete daily service reports including quantity packed, delivered, and customer feedback.
  • Report any incidents, delays, or equipment shortages promptly to the Supervisor.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of SSCE / OND in any discipline.
  • 1–2 years of experience in food service, catering, or hospitality preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management.
  • Must be punctual, presentable, and team-oriented.
