About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Fashion Designer / Creative Tailor to join our fashion department.

The ideal candidate will create stylish garments, mentor fashion students, and collaborate with our film and music production teams on wardrobe styling for shoots, music videos, and events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and sew creative outfits for clients, student projects, and fashion showcases
  • Collaborate with the fashion instructor on student training and practical sessions
  • Create costumes and outfits for music videos, photoshoots, and academy productions
  • Develop sketches, patterns, and fabric selections for new collections
  • Supervise tailoring apprentices or interns
  • Ensure high-quality finishing, fitting, and timely delivery of garments
  • Maintain the fashion studio, tools, and materials inventory

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Fashion Design, Tailoring, or Textile Design
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in garment design or production
  • Strong pattern drafting, cutting, and sewing skills
  • Creativity and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced creative environment
  • Experience with styling for photoshoots or videos is a plus

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of current fashion trends and fabric types
  • Digital fashion sketching tools
  • Ability to train or mentor junior designers or students
