Role Summary

We are seeking a Finance & Operations Manager to oversee the company's financial health, pricing strategy, and operational backbone. The ideal candidate will blend strong financial acumen with operational rigour, ensuring that our pricing, processes, and systems support sustainable growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Finance


• Lead day-to-day finance operations, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and monthly reporting.


• Manage budgets, forecasts, and cashflow planning to ensure financial stability.


• Oversee invoicing, billing, collections, and vendor payments.


• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, audits, and statutory filings.


• Partner with external accountants and auditors for accurate reporting.


• Develop financial models to support decision-making across projects and investments.

Pricing & Revenue


• Design and maintain service pricing frameworks that align with market positioning and margin targets.


• Work with business development teams to structure proposals, contracts, and commercial terms.


• Review and approve project costing, ensuring accurate allocation of time, talent, and resources.


• Monitor and refine quote-to-cash processes to improve efficiency and reduce leakage.


• Analyse client profitability, contract performance, and recommend pricing adjustments where necessary.

Operations


• Oversee core operational processes from contracting through delivery to collections.


• Standardise workflows across finance, sales, and delivery teams for efficiency and accountability.


• Manage procurement, vendor relationships, and operational contracts.


• Support internal systems setup and optimisation (CRM, finance tools, workflow automation).


• Coordinate with HR/talent teams to ensure seamless onboarding and contractor/partner payments.


• Ensure compliance with internal policies, approvals, and governance standards.

Qualifications


• 5–8+ years' experience in finance and operations within professional services, consulting, or tech.


• Strong foundation in accounting, pricing, and financial modelling.


• Experience with service costing, contracts, and commercial negotiations.


• Skilled with financial tools (Xero, QuickBooks, or similar) and operational systems (CRM, Airtable, Odoo, or Zoho).


• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline; ACA/ACCA/CIMA a plus.


• Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills.


• High integrity and ownership, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
