  • Design, train, and deploy ML/AI models that support quality assurance, knowledge retrieval, and structured codification of project outputs.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, and knowledge stores (e.g., vector databases, embeddings).
  • Implement MLOps practices including model deployment, monitoring, retraining, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with consultants and analysts to embed AI tools into project workflows.
  • Apply machine learning and data science methodologies to solve sectoral problems, particularly in agriculture, food systems, and national data reporting contexts.
  • Utilize insights from large-scale datasets, including those from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) or similar national data institutions, to inform project analytics and decision-making.
  • Stay up to date on ML/AI advancements and recommend practical tools for organizational adoption.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years' experience in machine learning, NLP, or applied AI with real-world deployments.

  • Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in at least one ML framework (TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn).

  • Proven experience deploying ML models (e.g., using Docker, APIs, or lightweight CI/CD workflows).

  • Familiarity with NLP concepts such as embeddings, transformers, or text classification.

  • Solid understanding of data handling (SQL or Pandas) and cloud-based workflows (AWS or Azure).

  • Experience in applying ML/AI models within the agriculture sector or national data/statistics institutions (such as NBS) will be considered a major advantage.

  • Ability to translate abstract business needs into practical ML/AI solutions.

  • Familiarity with multiple cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
