EXPANDED KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Strategic Advisory & Methodology Leadership
- Framework Development: Design, refine, and institutionalise proprietary Bridgemead frameworks, methodologies, and toolkits to standardise delivery, protect quality, and build intellectual property.
- Complex Problem Solving: Lead high-stakes engagements for clients facing significant disruption, turnaround situations, or enterprise-wide transformation.
- Executive Facilitation: Moderate board-level and executive sessions that drive alignment, decision-making, and accountability.
- Quality Assurance (QA): Serve as the final gatekeeper for all major client deliverables, ensuring analytical rigour, data integrity, narrative coherence, and visual excellence.
B. Revenue Generation & Market Expansion
- Pipeline Ownership: Proactively identify expansion opportunities within existing client accounts and convert them into additional workstreams through upselling and cross-selling.
- Strategic Networking: Represent Bridgemead at industry conferences, executive forums, and private roundtables to build influence, credibility, and deal flow.
- Proposal Innovation: Move beyond traditional bidding by designing value-based pricing and outcome-linked engagement models that align Bridgemead's success with client impact.
- Market Intelligence: Identify emerging sectors, client pain points, and service opportunities to inform new offerings and go-to-market strategies.
C. Operational Excellence & Profitability
- Resource Orchestration: Manage the consulting team ensuring optimal utilisation, balanced workloads, and sustainable performance without burnout.
- Project Governance: Implement structured project management disciplines (Lean, Agile, or hybrid models) to minimise wasted consulting hours and protect margins.
- Engagement Economics: Monitor project profitability, scope control, and delivery efficiency across all active engagements.
- Internal Systems Development: Strengthen internal operating systems, templates, and delivery playbooks that enable scale and consistency.
D. Talent Development & Leadership
- Capability Building: Coach and mentor consultants, strengthening problem-solving, client management, and executive communication skills.
- Performance Management: Contribute to performance reviews, promotion decisions, and succession planning within the consulting team.
- Culture Carrier: Model Bridgemead's standards of excellence, professionalism, and client-centricity.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, or a related field is required
- Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred, ideally from a top-tier business school.
- Additional executive certifications (e.g., PMP, Lean Six Sigma, Strategy & Leadership programs) are advantageous.
Professional Experience:
- Minimum 4-7 years of management consulting, strategy, or operations experience.
- Proven track record of leading complex client engagements across multiple industries.
- Experience managing client relationships at C-suite or board level.
- Demonstrated ability to drive business development initiatives, including proposal creation, lead conversion, and revenue growth.
- Exposure to operational improvement initiatives, project governance, and resource optimisation.
- Experience in mentoring, managing, and developing high-performing teams.
