The Brand Communications and Marketing Manager is responsible for shaping Belema's brand identity, overseeing all public-facing communications, and driving integrated marketing campaigns. This role requires an expert storyteller who can translate complex financial technology products into compelling, clear, and trustworthy market messaging that resonates with both B2B merchants and consumers.

Key Responsibilities
:

  • Brand Strategy and Identity:
    Define, articulate, and enforce the Belema brand voice, visual identity, and core messaging across all channels (marketing materials, digital platforms, public relations).
  • Integrated Marketing Campaigns:
    Plan and execute end-to-end marketing campaigns (both traditional and digital) to drive product adoption, lead generation, and brand awareness in key markets.
  • Public Relations (PR) and Media Relations:
    Manage and execute the company's PR strategy. Serve as the primary contact for media inquiries, draft press releases, and proactively secure positive media coverage to establish Belema as a thought leader in the FinTech space.
  • Content Strategy Oversight:
    Collaborate with the Content Specialist and Product teams to ensure all content (website copy, social media, articles, case studies) is on-brand, accurate, and strategically aligned with marketing goals.
  • Crisis Communications:
    Develop and maintain a crisis communication protocol. Lead the response team during any public events or issues to protect and manage the company's reputation and trust.
  • Market Research and Positioning:
    Conduct ongoing market research, competitive analysis, and audience segmentation to identify unique selling propositions (USPs) and optimize Belema's market positioning.
  • Compliance Review:
    Work closely with Legal and Compliance to ensure all marketing communications, claims, and public statements adhere to financial regulations and ethical standards.
  • Budget Management:
    Manage the brand and communications budget, tracking campaign effectiveness and optimizing spending to maximize ROI.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience:
    Minimum of 6 years of experience in brand management, marketing communications, or public relations, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial capacity. Experience in the
    FinTech, Banking, or Payments
    industries is highly preferred.
  • Education:
    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Strategic & Creative Skills:
    Proven ability to develop and execute innovative brand and marketing strategies. Exceptional copywriting and storytelling skills.
  • PR Proficiency:
    Established media relationships and a proven track record of successful PR campaign execution.
  • Compliance Awareness:
    Strong understanding of the regulatory environment governing financial services marketing and communications.
