Sales Executive Manager

Job Summary:
The Sales Manager is responsible for leading the sales team, developing and executing sales strategies, and expanding the customer base for palm oil and related products. This includes driving revenue growth, managing key accounts, optimizing pricing strategies, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction across markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue and market share goals.
- Lead and manage a team of sales officers, setting targets and monitoring performance.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base for crude palm oil (CPO), palm kernel oil, and by-products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, processors, and industrial buyers.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior to inform sales decisions.
- Collaborate with production and logistics teams to align supply capabilities with customer demand.
- Oversee contract negotiation, pricing, and payment terms in accordance with company policies.
- Track and analyze key sales metrics, prepare sales reports, and present performance updates to senior management.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and resolve any customer disputes or issues.
- Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to promote products and brand awareness.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Agricultural Economics, or related field. An MBA is an advantage.
- 5–8 years of experience in sales, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role—preferably in agribusiness, FMCG, or commodity trading.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of the palm oil industry, product pricing, and supply chain.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
- Must be willing to relocate anywhere in the country
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in managing B2B sales and institutional buyers.
- Ability to develop high-performing teams in field or rural environments.
- Familiarity with export sales and cross-border trade (if applicable).
