Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a
Sales and Marketing Specialist (Sales & Growth Focus)
based in Lagos State, Nigeria.
The role is responsible for driving revenue growth through sales execution, market expansion, and strategic business development. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies, generating and converting leads, managing client relationships, conducting market research, and identifying new growth opportunities.
The Specialist will collaborate closely with internal teams to align sales, marketing, and product efforts, support partnerships, train customers or partners where necessary, and ensure high-quality customer engagement and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales and growth strategies to drive revenue
- Generate, qualify, and convert leads across multiple channels
- Build and manage strong customer and partner relationships
- Identify new markets, opportunities, and partnership prospects
- Collaborate with marketing and delivery teams to align campaigns and sales efforts
- Conduct market research and provide insights to inform growth decisions
- Support customer onboarding, training, and retention initiatives
Qualifications
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Proven experience in sales, lead generation, deal closing, and target achievement
- Ability to support training and provide value-driven guidance to clients
- Strong organizational, time-management, and collaboration skills
- Background in marketing, business development, or growth roles
- Knowledge of digital marketing tools is an advantage
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience in a similar role or agency/startup environment is a plus
