Homecoming, The Store is a fashion-based store and community hub in Victoria Island, Lagos. Originally launched as a cultural exchange festival, Homecoming has been a driving force since 2017, fostering creative development among Africa's rising young generation and strengthening connections between the continent and the global creative community.

We are looking for a dynamic, culture-driven, and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our growing team. In this role, you will be key in delivering an exceptional shopping experience, building relationships with customers, and representing Homecoming's brand values. The ideal candidate is confident, a strong communicator, and passionate about fashion, streetwear, and community engagement.

As a Sales Associate, you will be a key part of our team, representing the brand and ensuring that every customer interaction is memorable.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong understanding of sales principles and customer service best practices.
  • Proficiency in English
  • Passionate about sales with a confident, engaging, and customer-focused approach.
  • Friendly, helpful, and proactive with the ability to build strong customer relationships.
  • Excellent time management and reliability in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Basic administrative skills to support daily operations.
  • Detail-oriented with high standards of work and store presentation
  • Hands-on and enthusiastic attitude, eager to contribute to the team.
  • Genuine interest in fashion, streetwear, and the brands available in the Homecoming store.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Customer Engagement: Welcome and assist customers, providing expert advice and styling recommendations based on in-depth product knowledge.
  • Store Presentation: Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store, ensuring displays are well-stocked and aligned with brand standards.
  • Sales Support: Assist in driving sales by proactively engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and offering tailored product suggestions.
  • Stock Management: Handle product deliveries, shipments, and inventory organization to ensure seamless store operations.
  • Brand Representation: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, creating a loyal community around the Homecoming brand.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up to date with product features, benefits, and trends to confidently assist customers and enhance their shopping experience.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to foster a supportive and efficient work environment.
  • Store Operations: Participate in all activities contributing to store success, including promotions, events, and adhering to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in retail sales.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
