They are looking for a
Partnerships Manager
to lead relationship-building, and work closely with the editorial, experiences, and content teams to bring brand collaborations, sponsorships, and experiential campaigns to life. This role is for a connector, storyteller, and business-minded creative who can identify opportunities, forge strong partnerships, and turn them into mutually rewarding experiences. - You are a business-minded creative with experience in strategic partnerships, sponsorship management, or brand collaborations, ideally within the luxury, media, or tourism sectors.
- You are a natural storyteller who can craft bespoke partnership concepts and decks that seamlessly merge a powerful narrative with clear business outcomes.
- You are a seasoned negotiator with a proven track record of successfully closing and managing strategic partnerships that drive significant revenue.
- You are eager to take ownership of the partnership strategy and execution.
- You are passionate about cultural discovery, redefining Africa's narrative, and possess a strong understanding of the continent's creative, luxury, and tourism landscape.
- You are capable of building and maintaining long-term, high-value alliances with brands, tourism boards, and cultural institutions.
Your Responsibilities
- Partnership Strategy & Development
- You will design and lead the company's partnership and sponsorship strategy, connecting global brands to Africa's luxury narrative.
- You will identify and approach potential partners in luxury, travel, culture, fashion, hospitality, and lifestyle sectors.
- You will craft bespoke partnership concepts and decks that merge storytelling with business outcomes.
- Relationship Management
- You will build and maintain long-term relationships with brands, tourism boards, hospitality groups, artists, and cultural institutions.
- You will serve as the liaison between the company and partners, ensuring seamless communication and delivery of partnership agreements.
- You will manage partner expectations and ensure collaborations are executed with excellence.
- Revenue & Growth
- You will drive sponsorship and partnership revenue for campaigns, experiences, and content projects.
- You will collaborate with the business and marketing teams to structure creative brand integrations and co-branded activations.
- You will explore sponsorship opportunities across media, events, and luxury experiences, driving both revenue and brand equity.
- You will track, report, and analyze partnership performance metrics and ROI.
- Brand & Experience Integration
- You will work with the editorial and production teams to translate partnership goals into compelling content and experiences.
- You will curate exclusive partner events, brand immersions, and tourism experiences that reflect the company's luxury and cultural aesthetic.
- You will contribute to storytelling concepts that elevate both the partner and the company's brand narrative.
What Success Looks Like...
- Successfully designing and launching a new partnership strategy that results in year-over-year growth in sponsorship and partnership revenue.
- Closing and executing strategic collaborations in the luxury or tourism sector.
- Maintaining a portfolio of long-term, high-value partners.
- Curating and executing exclusive partner events/experiences that successfully reflect the company's luxury and cultural aesthetic.
To be considered for this role you should have...
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- 3â5 years' proven experience in strategic partnerships, sponsorship management, or brand collaborations within the luxury, media, or tourism sectors.
- Proven track record of closing and managing strategic partnerships.
- Strong portfolio of executed brand collaborations or sponsorship campaigns.
- Strong understanding of Africa's culture, creative, and tourism landscape.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- A passion for storytelling, cultural discovery, and redefining Africa's narrative.
