Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mechanical Engineer located in Port Harcourt. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems, utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) tools, conducting research and development (R&D), and managing projects from conception to completion. Daily tasks may include troubleshooting mechanical issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring regulatory compliance and quality standards in all projects.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering and expertise in Machine Design
  • Experience in using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools
  • Strong Project Management skills for overseeing and coordinating engineering tasks
  • Background in Research and Development (R&D) for innovative solutions
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Experience in the energy sector and knowledge of oilfield services is a plus
