Corporate Strategy & Innovation

  • Assist the Head, Business Intelligence, Strategy and Innovation in formulating, documenting, and executing the Organizations' corporate strategy.
  • Track, monitor, and coordinate the implementation of strategic initiatives across business units, ensuring progress against agreed milestones and KPIs.
  • Assess the impact of regulatory changes, market trends, customer dynamics, macroeconomic factors, and competitor performance on strategic priorities.
  • Organize
    Quarterly Performance Reviews (QPRs) and Annual Strategy Retreats

, ensure timely circulation of materials to stakeholders, and document outcomes for decision-making and course correction.
- Identify gaps and risks in strategy execution (financial and non-financial) and recommend corrective actions.
- Drive alignment of business units with strategic objectives, providing guidance, support, and tools to enable effective execution.
- Integrate innovation into strategic initiatives by facilitating ideation, brainstorming, and solution design to generate actionable ideas that improve processes, customer experience, and business performance.
- Support the development of business cases for innovative projects to secure leadership support and funding.
- Promote a culture of innovation across the Organization through workshops, training, and internal engagement.
- Identify and pursue strategic partnerships and collaborations that enhance innovation and support the achievement of strategic objectives.
- Monitor trends and competitor innovations to identify opportunities that enhance strategic outcomes and competitive advantage.

Reporting & Communication

  • Prepare timely, high-quality reports and dashboards to track strategy execution, initiative progress, and innovation outcomes.
  • Develop quality presentations, newsletters, and internal communications to keep leadership and staff informed and engaged.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field (e.g., insurance, management, economics, etc.).
  • 5+ years' experience

in strategy execution, business transformation, innovation management, or consulting, preferably within the insurance or financial services sector.
- Strong understanding of strategy execution frameworks, project management, and performance monitoring.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing strategic initiatives and driving measurable outcomes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, project management tools, and reporting/analytics platforms.
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across business units and influence senior stakeholders.

Compensation: K Monthly Net + Quarterly, Allowances/Bonuses, HMO, Pension & NHF
