RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Summary Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Management Accountant. The role holder will be responsible for analysing key financial information to provide insights that will aid in managerial planning and commercial decision-making, ensuring the future growth and profitability of the school.Duties Preparing and managing budgets, cash flow forecasts, and financial plans Analysing financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements Preparing monthly management reports, tracking financial performance against budget Ensuring accurate records of all payments and maintaining the debtor's register Performing month-end accounting, including reconciliations and journals Conducting variance analysis comparing actual results to the budget and forecasts for each profit and cost centre Analysing and advising on the school's current and future expenditures for maximum ROI and project performance Developing, proposing, and implementing school-wide plans to reduce financial risks and lower costs Analysing trends and financial performance across business units/schools/departments Proactively liaising with other departments and participating in systems and process improvement initiatives Participating in project audits
