Job Title: Technical Sales Engineer

Location: ilupeju, Lagos State

Job Purpose

We're seeking an experienced Civil Engineer with technical sales expertise to lead our technical sales efforts and project-focused engagements in Nigeria. The successful candidate will focus on contract acquisition, project management, and relationship-building within the construction industry.

Requirements

1. Educational Background: Degree in Civil Engineering from a top engineering school in Nigeria.
2. Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in the construction sector, with a focus on contracts and project execution.
3. Technical Sales Experience: Demonstrated success in technical sales or business development related to construction projects.
4. Industry Network: Established connections with construction contractors, project managers, and decision-makers in Nigeria's construction industry.
5. Certifications: Possession of relevant licenses and certifications required for civil engineers in Nigeria.

Skills:
1. Strong negotiation skills.
2. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
3. Ability to analyze project requirements and align technical solutions with customer needs.
4. Strong understanding of project lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

1. Contract Acquisition and Project Development:
1. Identify and pursue new construction projects.
2. Establish relationships with project owners, consultants, and contractors.
3. Prepare and present technical proposals.
4. Maintain a pipeline of ongoing and upcoming projects.
2. Project Execution Support:
1. Coordinate with contractors and stakeholders.
2. Provide technical support during project planning and execution.
3. Monitor project performance and resolve issues.
3. Market and Industry Research:
1. Conduct market analysis to identify emerging project opportunities.
2. Track competitor activities and pricing strategies.
3. Provide written reports and actionable insights.
4. Customer and Stakeholder Engagement:
1. Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.
2. Regularly visit project sites.
3. Act as the primary point of contact for technical sales and project-related queries.
