The Insurance Sales Unit Lead role at Tangerine Africa is a critical position that requires a dynamic individual to drive business growth and team performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • New Business Acquisition: Develop and execute strategies to acquire new customers, increasing revenue for the unit.
  • Recruitment and Selection: Collaborate with the Productivity Manager to identify, recruit, and select high-performing Financial Advisors (marketers) who can contribute to the unit's success.
  • Mentorship and Team Building: Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Performance Growth: Set and achieve targets to grow the active retail workforce to a minimum of 80% performance, ensuring the unit meets its operational goals.
  • Weekly Performance Reports: Generate and submit weekly reports on team performance and activities to the Business Manager, facilitating data-driven decision-making.
  • Renewals and Customer Service: Work closely with Financial Advisors and the customer service team to drive unit renewals, ensuring seamless customer experiences.
  • Issue Resolution: Promptly address and resolve retail business issues and lapses, minimizing disruptions to business operations.
  • Worksites and Collaboration: Partner with Financial Advisors to create effective workspaces that facilitate productivity and collaboration within the unit.
