Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Training and Business Development Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will plan, market, organize, and execute training mandates efficiently, leveraging expertise in business development and training to drive revenue growth and client acquisition through the delivery of high-quality, customized training solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate leads and actively seek new business opportunities by promoting training services through various channels.
- Design and deliver comprehensive training programmes tailored to client needs, focusing on enhancing skills and organizational performance.
- Conduct research to identify trends and training needs and develop training proposals and marketing strategies based on identified needs.
- Utilize aggressive marketing strategies to maximize enrollment in scheduled courses.
- Update course materials and ensure timely availability before course commencement.
- Coordinate and actively participate in training programmes.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to clients.
- Gather feedback from existing clients/customers to enhance current training products and develop new ones.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should have a B.Sc. in Business Admin, Social Sciences, or other related fields (minimum of 2:2), professional qualifications in Human Resources being an added advantage. They should also have 3 - 5 years of work experience, with proven work experience as a training consultant, training coordinator, or similar role. Additionally, they should possess solid organizational skills, with the ability to multitask, good knowledge of learning and development methodologies and tools, excellent communication and presentation skills, demonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationships, self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
