We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager (Deposit Mobilization) to join our team at BLAKSKILL LIMITED. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead our deposit mobilization efforts in Abuja. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for promoting our financial offerings, securing deposit funds, and building relationships with key institutional and retail clients across Lagos and Abuja.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion the deposit mobilization drive, targeting high-net-worth individuals, institutional clients, and retail markets.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve deposit growth targets.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for low-to-medium-cost deposits to fund our assets.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with institutional and retail clients to secure new deposit mandates.
  • Monitor client satisfaction to ensure superior service delivery and retention.
  • Execute sales activities, including client presentations, campaigns, and roadshows, to drive deposit growth.
  • Represent us at networking events and industry forums to expand market presence.
  • Engage with decision-makers within target organizations to establish strategic partnerships and secure deposit mandates.

Requirements:

  • Experience Level: 5–7 years of relevant experience in deposit mobilization, preferably in digital banking or financial services.
  • Educational Background: First degree (minimum Second-Class Lower) from a reputable institution.
  • Professional Qualifications: Possession of certifications such as ICAN, ACCA, CIS, CFA, or an MBA will be an added advantage.
