About the Role
Gurugeeks is seeking a proactive and target-driven Tech Sales Executive to drive sales of our tech solutions, digital services, and IT Academy programs. The ideal candidate is confident, tech-savvy, and skilled in converting leads into long-term customer.
Responsibilities
- Leverage on existing prospective clients contacts, Identify and pursue new business opportunities both online and in the field.
- Generate new leads through calls, networking, online research, and face-to-face prospecting.
- Conduct outbound cold-calling, telesales, and direct telephone prospecting of potential clients.
- Execute repetitive sales email follow-ups as part of lead nurturing and conversion.
- Pitch and sell Gurugeeks' products and services by physical client engagements.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Attend conferences, exhibitions, and industry events to generate leads and represent the brand.
- Prepare tailored proposals and presentations for prospective clients.
- Negotiate deals and close sales to meet monthly and quarterly targets.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and prepare weekly sales and pipeline reports.
- Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to align client needs with service delivery
Qualifications & Skills
- Degree in Business Development, Sales/Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of sales or business development experience (experience in tech or SaaS is an advantage).
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Proven experience with cold-calling, telesales, or outbound sales campaigns.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new digital products and platforms.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple leads and follow-up cycles.
- Comfortable with field visits and client-facing activities.
- Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Exceed or HubSpot or Zoho) is an added advantage.
