Role Summary

The Sales Engineer will act as a key representative of the company, combining technical expertise with strong business insight to attract customers, build long-term relationships, and convert opportunities into successful sales. The ideal candidate is confident, well-presented, technically inclined, and able to communicate engineering solutions clearly and persuasively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent the company professionally with a strong understanding of its engineering products and services.
  • Identify, engage, and convert new business opportunities through proactive outreach and networking.
  • Manage and convert leads into closed deals through consistent follow-up and relationship building.
  • Provide accurate technical guidance to clients to support effective decision-making.
  • Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, and tailored engineering solutions.
  • Work closely with internal engineering teams to design, recommend, and refine solutions.
  • Monitor project activities where required to ensure smooth service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Travel to client sites, project locations, and company-related engagements when necessary.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or HND in
    Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering
    , or a related field.
  • Proficiency in
    Microsoft Office Suite
    (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of
    AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks
    is an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and project workflows.
  • Proven sales experience or demonstrated ability to convert leads into revenue.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible, proactive, and willing to travel as required.
  • Prior experience in engineering sales, field engineering, or technical client-facing roles is an advantage.
  • Well-presented, mature, and capable of confidently representing the company's brand.
