Sales Engineer

- As a Product Sales Engineer, you will charge with the responsibility of helping to build up the business by identifying new business prospects and selling products to them.
- They must maintain relationships with current clients and build new relationships with new clients.
- They must also stay ahead of their competition and work on sharpening and improving their skills by attending classes, seminars, or workshops.
Key Responsibilities
- Familiarize yourself with all OEM products and services offered by our company
- Suggest upgrades or added products and services that may interest the clients
- Work with the team to ensure excellent product delivery
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
- Actively seek new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media
- Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns
- Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on services
- Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data
- Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences
- Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
- Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share it with internal teams
- Preparing and sending quotes and proposals
- Participating in sales team meetings
- Meeting daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
- Building and maintaining a CRM database
- Owning the sales lifecycle from prospecting to implementation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or any related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a sales engineer or in a similar technical sales role.
- Strong technical background and ability to understand complex technical concepts and effectively communicate them to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly
- Must be self-motivated and a great team worker
- Knowledge of MS Office software and CRM software
- Ability to negotiate and understand marketing skills
- Ability to create and deliver presentations
- Fast learner and quick thinker
- Ability to adapt and grow in a competitive environment
- Passionate about sales.
Skills:
- Knowledge of the Industry market and customer preferences.
- Familiarity with CRM and sales management tools.
- Experience creating technical content, such as whitepapers or technical blog posts.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Language proficiency in multiple languages to cater to a diverse customer base.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including product development and marketing.
Salary
N350,000 / month.
